Comments:
I have had the Mio Digiwalker C220 for barely three weeks now and tonight, in the middle of a trip, hundreds of miles from home, the unit suddenly stopped working. There is a "fatal application error" message on the screen and it is completely locked up

QuickTake:

Pros: too angry with Mio to think of any pros at this point
Cons: stops working after 3 weeks

Product Rating: 1 star(s) Mio C220 low audio volume

, May. 10, 2007
Comments:
I own mio 310x and recently bought mio c220. Mio c310x has older version of map which dated back to 2005. Mio c220 has version 2006.10 which is not the latest version of U.S.A TeleAtlas map. The latest version is 2007.01. However, the biggest dis

Comments:
My husband has a Garmin i5 and it is a very nice GPS however the sale price on this unit convinced me to buy it. It was rather easy to use right out of the box, and while I liked the touchscreen, at times the buttons were too small even for my small hand

QuickTake:

Pros: Nicely detailed screen, accurate positioning
Cons: Voice command volume much too low

Comments:
There's a lot to love about the Mio C220. It sports a compact, no-fuss design. It's easy to use right out of the box and offers all the navigation basics. And when it comes to in-car GPS devices, you really can't beat its $250 price tag. Basically, it's a

Review Verdict: Though the Mio C220 offers ease of use, accurate directions, and an affordable price tag, its poor screen makes this in-car GPS device almost unusable.

Comments:
Less can be more, so does Mio's C220 sat-nav system do exactly what the proverbial tin says?

Review Verdict: It may be a little confusing to use in places, but the C220's weaknesses are easy to get used to over time. Most importantly, both mapping and route-finding are strong points ? this is one navigation device that does exactly what it says on the tin.

Review : Mio C220 Satellite Navigation Unit

Comments:
Having recently looked at the top of the range C520t that seems to do most things. Here is their entry level offering that is exactly what it says a satellite navigation unit.

Review Verdict: I am pleased to say that unlike an earlier model I reviewed you can download a PDF manual and I would suggest you do so or you are unlikely to be able to find certain settings. There are a whole raft of features that will probably remain undiscovered with

Mio c220 GPS Review

Comments:
The Mio c220 has been announced, a likely candidate to replace the c310x. The c220 will have many of the same navigation features as the former sibling, but there are a few notable changes in overall design, and some of the "extra" features. Some feature

Review Verdict: The first big change from the c310x is that the c220 comes in a different form factor. Gone is the asymmetrical screen placement which allowed for several buttons to be placed along the side. Instead, this design more closely resembles a small Nuvi or the

Product Rating: 3.95 star(s) Mio DigiWalker C220

Comments:
Mio's DigiWalker C220 is a small, dedicated touchscreen sat-nav that's as home in a handbag as it is on your dashboard -- all at a price that's miniaturised to match. It's a far cry from Mio's old cumbersome PDAs and clunky smartphones
