Great GPS for the money but lacks GPS signal recognition

Features are great such as the 3D view on highways easily directing you to which lane you should be in almost realistically. The street recognition and speech are precise and loud. GPS gets you to location and may be off slightly but not bad. The only downfall I have seen with the GPS is that it takes a while almost 7 to 10 minutes at times to find your location. Found my location immediately in my driveway but when I was at a friends house, it took forever to find my location and I ended up leaving but eventually will find you. Seems to stay on the map of US until it pinpoints where you are. I currently have a MIO too which finds your location immediately right away, but thought the 3D mode would help my husband substancially since he travels but he will most likely be sticking with the MIO. He can't chance that it will take 10 minutes to find his location as his time is precious when traveling. Overall a great product for price range and if you have patience for it finding your location.
