Comments:
I love TomTom products. My first GPS is a palm Zire 72 - from thereon I can't find another product that can match the excellent product development of a TomTom. My new GO 720 is my ultimate all-that-you-can-ask-for GADGET - it has an excellent GPS, an MP3 player (that makes your driving pleasant and not boring), my bluetooth headset (without the burden of wearing it); my portable photo viewer, my office relaxing gadget that runs on a bluetooth HiFi headset - what else can I ask for. Great product - TomTom, you are the BEST.

QuickTake:

Pros: its the best GPS all-around gadget; reliable satellite access, music ++
Cons: cannot say now; but only the best

Product Rating: 4 star(s) The TomTom GO 720 gives great navigation in a small package

Comments:
Incredible amount of very detailed information & apparently great accuracy (down to the exact lane on a freeway). Vey compact, but screen very readable. The variable speed rout preview is tremendous. Had to call customer service when the GO720 suddenly failed to turn on. Tech service had me push the reset on bottom of unit & it is now fine. I was told NOT to leave it connected (via USB port) to the computer & that this might damage the battery. Am planning an extensive driving trip in Wisconsin in August, & have already programmed my route & all stops.

QuickTake:

Pros: Excellent accuracy & detailed mapping
Cons: Discovered that you can't leave it plugged into the computer (may damage battery)

Review Verdict: Don't let its beautiful body tempt you, the TomTom Go 720 is both too pricey and too buggy. The cliche "beauty is only skin deep" is particularly apt here.

Comments:
Prior to the release of the Go 720, TomTom lacked a true high-end model in its New Zealand line up. The previous top model - the One XL - was an excellent device in its own right (not to mention outstanding value for money), yet it lacked some of the blin

With the GO 720, TomTom delivers the first GPS with daily map updates.

Review Verdict: The TomTom GO 720 boasts a host of premium GPS features at a pretty good price. It's especially nice if you've got a phone with a data plan on AT&T/Cingular or T-Mobile that supports the GO 720's extra abilities.

The 720's features make it a winner. But the high price reflects Map Share: which isn't available in Australia

Review Verdict: This means you can pair your phone with the 720 for €œPlus€ services such as weather. What's more, it can also be used for hands-free calling, while incoming text messages can be read aloud using the text-to-speech engine. You can even typ...
