I had a juiceman juicer that was on it's last leg. It was made of plastic and had several cracks. I was looking for a metal juicer and started reading the reviews. This Breville juicer received the best reveiws, but was more than I wanted to pay. I found it online at Irawoods.com on sale with free shipping. I ordered it and I am very happy I did. I use less fruits and vegetables and get much more juice. The juice is clearer. It comes with a de-frother pitcher that I love. I don't mind the foam, but the pitcher fits under the spout with a lid and there is no splashing or spraying (less mess to clean up). Most fruits and vegetables fit in the spout so you have less to cut. I juice every morning and I'm always in a hurry so this works well for me. The only thing I have a problem with is the vibration when I put in my beets and ginger. Sometime it vibrates so hard it actually moves the juicer. It's a very heavy juicer to give you an indication. I found that if I barley push when feeding the vegetable it doesn't cause the severe vibration. I love my new juicer.

Pros: Extremely easy to use, and clean up is a breeze. I love the die cast metal. Very sturdy.

Cons: When I'm using very hard vegetables (beets, ginger) theres alot of vibration.

The bottom line on if a product accomplishes it's purpose is if you use it regularly as intended. I have had a premium competitor's juicer for 20 years and have only used it in spurts. No pun intended. It is built like a tank which explains why after 2
