Asus' Eee PC 701 exposed in Russian review
Asus' Eee PC 701 gets reviewed, adored
"Pound for pound, the best value-priced notebook on the planet." Sure, you could stop right there if you'd like, but where's the fun in that? Laptop Mag was able to get their paws around an Asus Eee PC 701, and while you may not think a meager...
ASUS Eee 701 4G
The Eee's 7in screen is actually one of the most impressive things about the machine. The resolution of 800x480 isn't huge, but it's bright and clear, and manages a very good viewing angle
Review Verdict: A great little laptop for use on the move, and decent value for money too
QuickTake:
Asus - Eee PC 701
small format, low cost, Linux-based portable computer
Review Verdict: I'm not sure I'd want to recommend the Eee PC as your first and only computer. It is more a second machine, maybe for travelling with, and only then if you can cope with the small keyboard and non-familiar operating system. I'd also say 'watch this space'
Asus Eee PC 4G
We first saw this laptop at Computex in Taiwan in June. Asus promised to make a small sub-1kg laptop with an SSD that cost less...
Review Verdict: The Eee PC is the embodiment of open source - it looks attractive and cheap, but it will be hard to live with on a daily basis if you're used to Windows. Asus deserves praise for the simplified interface and wide range of applications, but once you move a

ARTICLES: ASUS Eee PC: Exclusive Inside Look! (31st October 2007)
With screwdriver in hand, we decide to open up ASUS' new Eee PC to see what surprises are lurking inside.
Review Verdict: The Eee PC is not for everyone; but having said that, it also seems to have a bit of everything (except a Microsoft OS, but they are working on that). It comes in a neat little package (Dimensions: 22.5 x 16.4 x 2.15~3.5 cm) with five different colors ava
Asus Eee PC Killer Coming This Year
Looks like Asus will have to be on their guard as Acer has plans to unleash an Eee PC killer sometime in Q2 or Q3 this year. Apparently, this will not interfere with Acer's other low-cost, entry-level notebook known as the Packard Bell EasyNote XS (Packar
A-Data Targets Asus Eee PC
A-Data has a couple of new accessories that were specially marketed for the Asus Eee PC crowd - the A-Data S70i USB flash drive and SDHC memory card. After all, the Eee PC could definitely make do with way more memory than it currently has (8GB tops), fre

Well, would you take a look at this. Turns out, 3DNews somehow managed to get their palms around (and within) Asus' Eee PC 701 for a hands-on review. Granted, a heap of the writeup was a bit hard to grasp without understanding Russian (or being a...
