i got this for the internet and it didn't fail me in all the time i have had it wirlesss is great and use all the time light weight and easy to use and view screen is good and easy to see all on it

Very nice laptop. The best features, in my opinion, are the little things like having 2 USB ports on either side and being a really quiet laptop. I had an old Toshiba before I got this and that thing was as loud as a carnival (but it's 4 years old, so its expected)! I really like the compact design, it makes taking it where ever you go less of a hassle. I didn't get the speaker upgrade, but the sound quality of the standard ones are survivable. To get nit-picky, though, the volume controls uses this touch-sensative metal instead of the standard scroll wheel and doesn't respond as well as it should. Instead, if you want to change the volume you'd have to do it through Windows (which controls the same volume. i'm used to having the laptop having an independent volume so this is a little weird). Everything works as it should, i'm extremely satisfied with the product and would recommend it to anyone looking for a casual laptop that doesn't need the extreme performance of the XPS laptops.

This is the first time for me to use Vista and I didn't think I would like it as much as I do because of the re-teaching myself to use a diffent setup. The Dell support feature is very helpful as well.

Cons: At first I thought it seemed a little slow but either I am getting used to it or it sped up? Maybe it operator error, but, this computer seems to take an excessive amount of time to open/close programs.

I have always been an HP person, this is the first Dell we have owend. We love it. Why pay hundreds more for an HP when you can buy a Dell for much less and it's easer to use....Great Job!! The wi/fi was never part of the HP package,that was someting you had to install yourself.I like having all the ports on the sides easer to use. Quick and easy. I like that.

I'm using my laptop for school purposes. It is a very fast computer which is great but adding mircrosoft word to the computer adds so much money to it. Comes in several colors and is built to match you which is the real nice part.

Pros: This laptop has all the ability to connect with the internet with a built in internet card.
Cons: Keyboard is just like a laptop. No side numbers. I would like to see this added. Microsoft Vista is difficult.
