First, note that I am using the very similar 256 MB DataTraveler Elite. The come with a small sturdy cord. The one light flashes blue when connected to a high speed USB, and red when connected to the slower speed.

I've used this little device almost daily for two years, and it has never failed me, not once.

I initially used its built in software, which includes encryption, and is easy to follow. But now I just back up certain files by copying them. Even the slower speed is fast enough for multiple megabytes to transfer.

Recently, the removable cap that covers the USB plug cracked. I called Kingston Technologies, and spoke to a real person right away. They promptly sent me a package with not one but TWO caps, completely free. Now that's customer service!!

Yes, I highly recommend this series of flash drives.
