bought a P4P800-E Delux w/ P4 3.20 Ghz, 1 Gig Corsair Pro extreme 400 Mhz ddr. AI won't allow MB clock MEM at 400 Mhz. Why? It will default standard 266 Mhz, why?

17 BIOS updates is stupid and on top of that they left a bad update on their site for consumers to download. It would just reboot for no reason occassionally. Latest BIOS beta 1017 seems OK so far - who knows. Would have chosen another board if had to

this was my fourth ASUS motherboard and I had no problems with the previous three. So I was buying the P4P800 Deluxe with a fair bit of confidence. Opening the box revealed ASUS' usual assortment of cables, instruction manuals etc... all good stuff.

The manual does not give specifics on front panel audio or USB support. Other than that, this board has excellent features (Firewire x2, WIFI, SATA, RAID, USB x8, 5 PCI, 8xAGP, antivirus and firewall software included, etc...). Will definitely purchase As

If you don't think & won't need customer service then this is the Motherboard for you. I could not get to speak with tech support for almost 2 weeks. They tell me they are very busy & will call back but it never happened even after leaving my home & cell

The ultim network motherbord. Top notch bios. Description of it in everyday puter life: Dreadnought. it takes a beting and gives it back out ten folds.
