$300.00 should not crash and wipe out twice in less than a year. Tech support wants $25.00 each time to get it up and running again only to have it crash again later. I was told "this happens sometimes". I cannot send it in for repair because we get it r

I sent my Palm Tx in for repair on July 5th. (Screen replacement) Their website "promises" repair and return in 5 to 7 business days. Up until July 20th and NO ONE at Palm can tell me where my TX is and when it will be returned. Two days ago a member of

I bought this thing a year ago but never used it until last month. Within a few days the screen started messing
up, not responding to input. These and most electronics are built in China and so you can expect it to break in
an absurdly short

QuickTake:

Pros: It's a PDA, and it works but I expect a repair soon.
Cons: I also had the screen screw up within weeks of using it.

Good value for memory-card capable pda w/o hard drive, but slow search speed and the the screen scratched in the first two months (I only use the stylus). Very frustrating trying to enter data when the screen fails to respond correctly to input strokes

QuickTake:

Pros: large screen, good detail/definition, fair processor speed
Cons: write-on screen malfunction in first two months

Product Rating: 4.85 star(s) Palm TX

Comments:
PDA Palm's new TX sacrifices some of the storage and processing power of its predecessor, the Tungsten T5, in exchange for wi-fi and a lower price. The end result: more features for the buck

Review Verdict: Aside from its darker case and slightly brighter screen, the TX looks and feels like the T5. The $599 TX has 128MB of total memory, half that of the T5, and only about 100MB of it is user accessible. Unlike the T5, the TX comes with memory that can store
