I have owned my M500 for 6 1/2 months and have never had any trouble with it. The screen is huge compared to the small screen of the m100 handhelds. The unit only houses 8MB of memory and there really is only 7.7MB usable. You can though add memory with t

, Mar. 30, 2003
Comments:
The palm m500 is a very good choice: all the functionalities are available, as well as many accessories. Unfortunately, the display could be a little bigger but most of all, color is a must.

QuickTake:

Pros: more useful than you'd think, easy to use
Cons: better take the color. B&W is frustrating

Product Rating: 1 star(s) Palm crash

, Jan. 16, 2003
Comments:
I've owned my Palm for all of 3 months, and it suddenly died on me and wont recharge. I called Palm and a repair takes up to 3 weeks, or you pay $40 and get a rebuilt one in 7-1o days. So that is how their warranty program works. Very dissappointing.

QuickTake:

Pros: good performance for a while
Cons: crashed palm and dissappointing customer service
