QuickTake:

Pros: The interactive 'guide' features a sexy female voice that directs you through recording settings. Listening to WMA files and MP3s is lovely: Brazilian samba songs had a light and natural bass drum leveling with distinct beats.

Cons: The DSS software for PC editing is mediocre at best, with a confusing menu and a weak interface. And while the monochrome LCD display is easy to read, text is small and crammed into crowded space.
