We use a Nikon N80, scan the negatives at 3600dpi, (17mb) run them through photoshop and then print at 13 x 19 at 2880 (the 17mb file generates about 270dpi at 13x19). The paper cost is around $2, the ink cost $1. The prints are better than a photolab.
