The 3820 delivered good print quality. But it only did it for a few months before quitting. The estimate for the repair was more than the cost of the printer.

Error lights go on often, paper jams cause continuous printing of jibberish and it just messes up too often. Currently, not working at all.

I have worked with HP's customer service several times. Reinstalled the print drivers, etc. Changed out the ink cartridges. It will only print once before showing a non-exsistant jam and the cartridge light begins to blink. Will return.

I've had two of these printers. The first one had horrible print quality. I thought I just had a bad cartridge so I bought a new one. Nope, the printer was the cause. Took it back to the Apple store for an exchange. Second printer has been working OK,

Had it set up and running in ten minutes (or less). Prints good pictures, but they take about 20 minutes to print at maximum quality. Uses Ink like it is going out of style though, that can be remedied some by printing on draft for non essensial printou

I do like the quality of the print, but the printer is very sensitive, it stops and jams up for no reason at all. The last time it stoped I can't get it to work, the ink cartridge is jammed and it won't budge. Will buy a new printer, but not a 3820.
