I have had the ML 1710 for several weeks now and it has been perfect for printing large volumes of copies. It does make some noise when it is warming up, but it's not that bad. I highly recommend this printer. The toner included with the machine prints

The excessive squeaking noise sounds like the printer is broken, but it's just normal. I have tried two new printers and they all generate the same loud, squeaking noise while printing.

The quality is really terrible in that it is not high quality printing. There are many jams, errors, the works. It's a cheap machine that barely performs. So you get what you pay for. If it comes with a rebate, good luck receiving it. It may never show,
