Received this unit as a replacement for a Hughes HDTV receiver that failed after ~ 3 years. Was impressed by the number of options and outputs for digital and analog audio / video, as well as the easy to understand on-screen menu format. All worked well

The only thing missing as mentioned in another post is TiVo. This unit does a wonderful job of merging Cable, SAT and OTA into one menu. It also downloads programing schedules for OT and Cable, nice feature. There was a problem with earlier units sold

All this puppy is missing is a DVR. That will follow later this year. The unit is fast and has a nice trick that other DirecTV units don't have. It merges OTA, Cable and DirecTV into one nice easy to use menu. Changing channels between multiple source
