Received this unit as a replacement for a Hughes HDTV receiver that failed after ~ 3 years. Was impressed by the number of options and outputs for digital and analog audio / video, as well as the easy to understand on-screen menu format. All worked well

The only thing missing as mentioned in another post is TiVo. This unit does a wonderful job of merging Cable, SAT and OTA into one menu. It also downloads programing schedules for OT and Cable, nice feature. There was a problem with earlier units sold

Internal DVI failure

Unable to receive a video signal using DVI connection. I called Samsung & found out there is an internal fault in the receiver (resistor issues) & the unit needs to be sent in for an upgrade. Returning the product (where I bought it) & getting another one
