My three-year-old does not always need to sit, sometimes she could stand and ride along if tired. This stroller is big enough for her if she does need to sit and sturdy enough for her to stand on the back if she just needs a break from walking. It will be perfect for when her baby brother or sister arrives too! It is a little heavier than my others, but not too heavy to lift. It also does not fold as compactly as an umbrella stroller, but it is smaller than my peg perego venezia. The baby can fit in front and she can stand in the back if she needs a break.
