Be sure to plug the set directly into the wall rather than pluging into your cable box. Reason-- if you plug the set into the cable box the power kills when you turn off the box but the set needs power to run the cooling fan to properly cool the lamp dow

Excellent Bang for your Buck

Great t.v., Not as overwhelming as a rear projection. Not as pricey as a plasma. Research I've done convinced me that LCD was the way to go. Picture quality, life expectancy, and price. So far I couldn't be happier.
