Be sure to plug the set directly into the wall rather than pluging into your cable box. Reason-- if you plug the set into the cable box the power kills when you turn off the box but the set needs power to run the cooling fan to properly cool the lamp dow

This is an excellent choice for a rear projection LCD. I have had mine over 6 months now and am itching for HDTV signals in my area. Beacuse the set is so clean and clear, if you are running a cable tv or satelite signal (satelite is better) into it all
