Scooba scrubs so I don't have to!!

A couple of years ago I bought a Roomba robotic vacuum and it keeps my living room much cleaner using it on a regular basis as I had time for before purchasing it. When I saw iRobot had a floor scrubber for the kitchen and dining room I immediately wanted one. I received an email about remanufactured Scoobas for only $199 instead of the regular price of $499 so I jumped at the chance to finally get one. It is pretty much all that I had hoped for except that the battery only lasts about 30 minutes which is not enough to clean my entire dining room in one session. I am going to change my virtual wall positions to split the room into two sessions (with only one requiring removing the dining room chairs) and work this into my regular early morning cleaning schedule for the week. This should work out with the available battery time.

Cons: battery life is quite limited.

Scooba improves my quality of life!

I use it to clean my Kitchen and Entrance hallway which is vinyl flooring. The machine is quite efficient and cleans very well. I wish that future versions would come with a scrubber brush to do corners... perhaps a stronger version of the small corner brush found on the Roomba. I also wish it was better at drying the floor. Overall it has made my life easier as I clean the floors a couple of times per week, where I wouldn't have the time to do this with a mop & bucket.

Pros: Cleans quite well, Scooba Juice leaves a very nice scent, the clean up procedure is very easy afterwards.

Cons: The scooba doesn't do corners, so you still have to do the perimeter of the room using a Swiffer Wet or rag.

SCOOBA ROCKS !!

IRobot Scooba is even better than the Roomba (which I also adore!!) It does a marvelous job and scrubs up the toughest floor grime, even stuck on gum. You do need to be careful to clean the brushes thouroughly after use, particularly if you have pets, as hair can get wrapped around the bearings. I highly recommend this product. Well worth the $$$

Cons: Can get hung up on door sills. Must be thoroughly cleaned after use

Wasn't Worth It.

After approximately 9 months I encountered battery charging problems. When it was used every week at first it worked fine. After a period of about 4 weeks when it was not used it developed charging problems. After "charging" the unit would indicate it
