Really like many others have written that it has a very good lens on it. Picture quality is excellent. Software is so so but I played around with the zoom and pan/tilt features. The facial stuff doesn't work to well and is a waste of time trying to use it.

The Logitech Quickcam Pro 9000 is a great all-around webcam. It has great picture quality and works seamlessly with Aim, Yahoo, and Windows Messenger. If you have any problems like choppy picture quality or freezing video, its either your internet connection has slowed down or more likely, that Windows Messenger is a crash-prone program.

This webcam is user friendly, just plug and use! I can take pics or videos with it or see my family on the web. The menu is easy to use and even has some fun features like turning you into an alien face! Sometimes the special features dont work, but the pros of this camera far outweigh the cons.

Everyone who has seen me on this web cam is astounded by the picture quality. The mic is very good and the sound on the other end is excellent from what I have been told. Works very well in a somewhat darken room with just a small amount of light. This web cam is very easy to install but you really need to install the software before plugging in the camera. The software will walk you through the installation. The video effects software I don't like because the lighting has to be just so right and it wouldn't work unless the light is just right. Overall a great web cam. I am going to get another one for my wife.
